A Zen Garden with Dual Purpose – Play Space and Meditation
Designed with a “Contemporary Zen” theme, this residence was designed with a young family’s needs in mind. The home’s glass walls open to a courtyard with a wading pool with a bridge that leads to a large play lawn for the client’s son. A sand Zen garden was also designed to be a play space. The side yard is anchored by a composite wood-plank boardwalk leading to an entertaining deck complete with fire feature and built-in seating.
